Mrs. Brownd's 2nd Grade Class enjoyed learning all about Costa Rica and the tropical rainforest after they read "Fernando's Gift" from their McGraw-Hill reader. They learned more facts from library books like "Costa Rica Book of Pictures", "Tropical Rain Forests", and "Stop That Noise!". The 2nd Graders really enjoyed a picture presentation from Mr. Cox, our high school science teacher, whose wife is from Costa Rica.
